Quinceañera Trailer & Poster
by amit

Our good pals over at Sony Pictures Classics sent us some info on Quinceañera. The story’s about

what happens when teenage sexuality, age-old rituals, and real estate prices collide. It is a story fueled by the racial, class, and sexual tensions of a Latino neighborhood in transition.

Sex and real estate? Sounds intriguing.

Borat Movie Reviewed
by dan

Man, I wish I could have been there for this one. Ali G’s Borat movie screened at Cannes and JoBlo wrote up a review of it. They gave it a 7/10, but the review’s worth reading solely for the peak into the insanity that seems to be the Borat movie. Click the pic for the review.

Accepted Trailer
by dan

The Trailer for the upcoming comedy, Accepted, just dropped and it looks mildly amusing in a cliche sort of way. I just wish it had some name talent, because right now all they’ve got is that guy from those new apple commercials starring as the lead. Click the pic for the link to the trailer.

Four Villians To Be In Spiderman 3
by amit

Subject says it all. Here it is straight from the horse’s mouth, Avi Arad.

iF Magazine: There are four villains this time, Venom, Sandman, and Green Goblin and when is the fourth going to be revealed?

ARAD: Right we have four villains. Pretty soon [we’ll reveal the fourth villain] I believe. Maybe around Comic Con we’ll reveal something and the madness will begin.

I’m crossing my fingers and toes for Carnage. That would elevate the movie from just “super freaking incredible” to “better-wear-a-diaper incredible.”

The Fountain Gets A Release Date
by dan

Darren Aronofsky’s much anticipated, The Fountain, has finally got the firm release date of October 13th, 2006. Which will put it out right around the same time as my other much anticipated flick, Pan’s Labyrinth. Looks like October’s gonna rawk.
