Mo’Nique’s big and back in the news. The over-sized TV/movie star who’s currently trying out for “The View” (C&V predicted this) was painstakingly tossed off a United Airlines flight en route to New York. Despite the rumors, it wasn’t over the fact in-flight meals cost money, it was over the ownership and location of a hair dryer. According to the Daily News, the Phat Girlz actress, real name Mo’Nique Imes-Hicks, was approached by a flight attendant after Imes-Hicks’ stylist placed her hair dryer in the first class cabin where she was sitting. After the stewardess didn’t believe Mo’ owned the hair dyer, “Star Jones 2.0″ screamed racism. The United Airlines employee tried to calm her by saying, “Tell your people that the next time they have an attitude, they are being thrown off…Since 9/11, we don’t play around.” That’s when the tray-table sized chocolate pudding cup hit the fan. Mo’Nique tilted her neck and rebutted, “Are you equating my hair dryer with 9/11?” She was then removed and taken back into Chicago’s O’Hare airport. Fortunately, a United ticket agent sided with “Miss 747″ and booked her and her entourage on the next flight.

Mo’Nique added after the tiff,
“I felt like I was being treated like an animal. This happens to black people all the time, and they don’t have a voice. I have a voice.”
Now the Phat actress vows to spread the word to boycott United Airlines. She added, “I won’t [fly United again], and I hope no other black person will fly them either.”
