You know we’ve come along way in the Civil Rights movement when we find an old black man (Samuel L. Jackson) with a shackled white trash skank (Christina Ricci). Ooooooh weee! And who knows what girly-voiced Justin Timberlake’s role is in this down south debacle. Black Snake Moan opens February 23, 2007.

Now that Sony’s done sweating over the release of their unimpressive, third-generation console, they decided to email us some very nifty posters for another franchise that’s in its third run, Spider-man. Check out two posters of the same shot, just in different colors. Spider-man 3 opens up next year.

Someone out there on the net faxed us the teaser trailer for none other than Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix even though the it’s not officially due out till Monday. Luckily our C&V spies (your checks are in the mail) are experts at finding the obscure to moderately illegal videos. Though the quality isn’t the best, we still get a taste of the 5th installment to the wildly popular fantasy series (Hermione, yum). And, for the quality enthusiast, here are some screen shots.
