Television juggurnaunt, “American Idol”, is well underway. 35 million people will watch three times a week as Randy, Paula, Simon, and the viewing public slowly axe the 24 contestants down to one lucky person guaranteed to reach the fame and fortune so afforded to previous Idol winners like Ruben Studdard and Fantasia Barrino. For now, however, 24 quasi-deserving individuals will bask in the bright lights of their 15 minutes of fame.
