ABC’s powerhouse medical series, “Grey’s Anatomy” is not only known for romantic drama, suspense, crying, bad medical ethics, and hints of comedy, it’s also a catapult for musical acts like The Fray and Snow Patrol. Gary Lightbody, Snow Patrol’s front man, owes their recent snowballing success to a song “Chasing Cars” playing during the final few minutes of the season two finale. Recently, the band went even as far as to re-cut scenes of “Grey’s” into the music video. Lightbody told AOL Music,
“It’s very strange to have people coming to the band just on the back of one song, ’cause we’re very much an albums band and we want to win people over with our live show or whole record rather than some TV show they saw. [But], if people come along because of that, then we’ll win them over.”
