America is fat. But celebrities aren’t. That’s why the #2 reason for the country’s largeness, McDonald’s, (Poptarts are a surprising #1. I eat 12 for brunch everyday) has signed supermodel and wife to Seal, Heidi Klum, to be the face and buns of the burger giant. According to the NY Daily News, McDonald’s spokesman Alexander Schramm wanted Klum because she “is the best partner. She’s a young mother and represents modern lifestyle.” McDonald’s is crossing their pudgy fingers Klum improves their image after movies like Supersize Me and the up-coming Fast Food Nation have shined an over-sized light on the negative aspects of their foods. Here are her first few print ads out of Germany.
